Radiator Copper and Aluminum Stripping Machine

The radiator copper and aluminum separator, also known as a radiator stripping or peeling machine, is designed to separate copper tubes from aluminum fins in scrap radiators. It is commonly used to process discarded air conditioner radiators, automotive radiators, and other copper-aluminum heat exchangers, allowing the two metals to be recovered separately for recycling.

How to Separate Copper and Aluminum From Radiators
The machine uses mechanical stripping blades to separate the copper tubes from the surrounding aluminum fins. During operation, the machine automatically strips scrap radiators and discharges the separated copper and aluminum. The feed width is approximately 300–400 mm, making it suitable for compatible radiator sections within this range.

For multi-layer radiators, we generally recommend preliminary cutting with a saw to separate the radiator into suitable sections before processing. Before choosing a radiator copper-aluminum separator, check the radiator structure, number of tube layers, tube spacing, and section dimensions. These factors determine whether the material can be processed directly or requires pre-cutting. Matching the machine to the radiator type helps achieve more consistent separation and recover copper tubes and aluminum fins as separate recyclable materials.
