The Single-Glass PV Module Recycling Production Line is a fully automated solution specially designed for recycling traditional glass-backsheet solar panels. Through intelligent processes including robot feeding, visual recognition, dismantling, thermal glass separation, crushing, and material sorting, the system efficiently recovers valuable resources such as glass, aluminum, silicon, copper, plastics, and junction boxes.
Single-glass PV modules, also known as single-glass solar panels or glass-backsheet modules, are traditional photovoltaic panels with a front glass and a polymer backsheet. They are the most common conventional PV modules, mainly composed of glass, solar cells, EVA, backsheet, aluminum frame, and junction box.
After processing through the solar panel recycling system, recovered materials include junction boxes, glass, aluminum frames, silicon powder, metals(copper), and plastics. These materials can be reused in various applications, maximizing resource recovery and creating additional economic value.
The Single-Glass PV Module Recycling Production Line integrates a series of automated processes, including robot feeding, 3D scanning, visual recognition, junction box removal, aluminum frame removal, thermal glass separation, crushing, sorting, and dust collection. The system is designed to handle different sizes of traditional glass-backsheet PV modules, enabling efficient dismantling and material recovery. The robotic feeding and vision positioning system ensures accurate panel handling, while the automatic junction box and aluminum frame removers improve processing efficiency. After thermal separation of glass, the remaining materials are processed through crushing, grinding, gravity separation, and vibrating screening to recover valuable resources such as metals, silicon, and plastics. An integrated pulse dust collector controls dust emissions, ensuring a cleaner and more environmentally friendly recycling operation.

The robot automatic feeding system uses intelligent gripping and visual recognition technology to accurately position and remove junction boxes from solar panels. It enables efficient automated handling, reduces labor costs, improves processing efficiency, and supports effective recovery of junction box materials for enhanced resource utilization.
The dual-side synchronous pushing system applies uniform force to quickly remove aluminum frames from all four sides of PV modules. This enables efficient automated processing and continuous operation.
Heating PV modules to 50-70°C softens the adhesive layer for efficient separation and recycling. The panels are then transferred to the glass removal unit for efficient separation.
The Crushing & Separation System processes the remaining materials after glass removal through crushing, grinding, and advanced separation. The materials are refined into uniform fine particles and separated by a gravity separator and circular vibrating screen based on density and particle size differences, enabling efficient recovery of valuable metals while separating silicon powder and plastic components for further recycling.
The Circular Vibrating Screen and Pulse Dust Collector work together to improve material separation and environmental performance. The vibrating screen separates materials according to particle size, further separating silicon powder from plastic particles to enhance recycling value. The pulse dust collector effectively captures dust generated during crushing and grinding, ensuring a cleaner working environment and eco-friendly recycling operation.
