Scrap electric motors contain valuable copper windings, but recovering them efficiently can be difficult. Traditional manual dismantling is labor-intensive and time-consuming, particularly when processing large quantities of motors. A motor copper extraction machine offers a faster, more practical way to separate copper windings from scrap motor stators and rotors.

Designed for small and medium-scale recycling operations, this motor copper extraction machine combines five essential functions in one unit: motor housing removal, motor core and winding cutting, copper cutting, and copper extraction. Instead of relying on manual tools to dismantle each motor, the machine uses hydraulic force to open the motor housing, cut through the winding assembly, and pull the copper coils from the motor core.

The process starts with positioning the scrap motor in the machine, where the housing is removed to expose the internal stator or rotor. The cutting system then separates the motor core and winding structure, allowing the copper windings to be accessed more efficiently. The extraction mechanism applies controlled hydraulic force to pull the copper coils from the core, producing copper material that can be collected for further processing and recycling.

With a 5.5 kW motor, 25 MPa hydraulic system pressure, and 380 V / 50 Hz power supply, the machine is designed for stable operation while maintaining a compact footprint of approximately 1,400 × 1,300 × 1,700 mm. With a net weight of around 650 kg, it is suitable for recycling facilities that need dedicated copper recovery equipment without investing in a large automated production line.
