Discuss the Importance of Lithium Battery Recycling Equipment

Lithium-ion battery recycling equipment is essential for reducing the environmental and economic impact of spent lithium-ion batteries. A complete recycling process typically begins with shredding and crushing, which separates the casing and separator materials. The remaining mixture is then screened to extract the black mass. Materials that don’t meet the required particle size are sent for secondary and even tertiary crushing, followed by additional screening to refine the separation. Ultimately, copper-aluminum mixtures and black mass are isolated—black mass is collected, while copper and aluminum are separated using airflow classifiers.
