PCB Components Dismantling Machine for E-Waste Recycling

The PCB Components Dismantling Machine is a key pre-processing system in electronic waste and PCB recycling lines, designed to efficiently remove electronic components from various circuit boards. The machine uses a high-temperature rotary drum made from 6mm #45 steel, offering strong resistance to heat, abrasion, and long-term mechanical wear. It replaces manual dismantling with a safe, stable, and fully automated process that improves recovery efficiency and protects the value of components containing precious metals such as gold, silver, and palladium.

During operation, natural gas heats the drum to 200–300°C, melting the tin solder on PCB boards. As the drum rotates, the scraping action separates components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits, thermistors, inductors, and LED parts. If required, the system can be equipped with an electronic component screen to classify components by size, along with a magnetic separator to sort materials containing iron. This allows customers to obtain cleaner fractions and higher resale value.

The equipment features a high level of automation, including an automatic temperature-control system, PLC control, forced air supply, flameout self-ignition protection, and temperature-memory functionality. It operates with only 1–2 workers and offers capacities from 200 kg/h to 500 kg/h. The system also includes a dust exhaust and waste-gas treatment unit, ensuring that smoke and particulate matter are processed through a spray tower and photocatalytic purification system to achieve clean, environmentally compliant emissions.

One key advantage of this dismantling machine is that the motherboard and recovered components can be processed separately in the next steps, greatly improving downstream crushing efficiency and increasing the purity of metal and non-metal separation. The machine removes tin and dismantles components in a single step, minimizes component damage, and keeps precious metals intact, maximizing overall economic benefits.
