Automobiles are composed of valuable raw materials — about 76% of which are metals such as steel, copper, aluminum, and other alloys, along with glass, rubber, and plastics. Through crushing, screening, and separation, these materials can be efficiently recovered and reused.

The recycling process begins with a heavy-duty chain conveyor that steadily feeds car bodies or scrap materials into a double-shaft shredder. This powerful shredder breaks the materials into large pieces, followed by a hammer crusher that reduces them into smaller, uniform particles. A pulse dust collection system operates simultaneously, capturing dust to maintain a clean and environmentally friendly workspace. The crushed materials then pass through magnetic separation to extract ferrous metals such as iron, followed by a rotary screen and eddy current separator to recover non-ferrous metals like copper and aluminum from plastic and light fractions.

The line integrates multiple advanced components — including a zigzag air separator, magnetic separator, eddy current separator, and gravity system — achieving over 99% separation purity. The entire process is fully automated via a PLC control system, ensuring high efficiency, safety, and stable operation. The system also includes a misting and water spray fire protection system, temperature control, and reverse jet filtration for air cleaning, ensuring reliable and safe operation even under heavy loads.
