Automated Bifacial PV Panel Recycling Line Solution

We are proud to introduce our Bifacial Solar Panel Recycling Line, an automated solution designed specifically for processing double-glass photovoltaic modules. Developed for a U.S.-based solar panel recycling company, this advanced system efficiently recovers valuable resources from bifacial solar panels through a fully mechanical crushing and separation process.

The line is capable of handling panels of various sizes and separates high-value materials, including glass, copper, silicon powder, and plastics. The process begins with dual-shaft pre-shredding, followed by multiple stages of size reduction and separation. Linear vibrating screens are used at different stages to extract glass at varying particle sizes (≥5 mm, ≥2.5 mm, and ≥1.5 mm). Subsequent steps include magnetic separation for ferrous metals, eddy current separation for rubber and copper strips, knife crushing, pulverizing, airflow separation, and final screening through a three-layer circular vibrating screen. The system ensures precise classification, producing clean outputs of plastic, glass, and high-purity silicon powder.
