Aluminum Decoating and Paint Removal Line

The Aluminum Decoating and Paint Removal Line is designed to remove paint, powder coatings, epoxy layers, plastic covers, oil, and adhesives from metal surfaces through high-temperature pyrolysis or controlled combustion. It is an ideal solution for preparing metal materials for remelting, reuse, or further processing in recycling operations. This production line efficiently removes paint, grease, and surface impurities from aluminum cans (UBC), aluminum profiles, decorative panels, honeycomb aluminum, electronic waste, and color steel tiles.

The system operates on the principle of continuous carbonization, which decomposes coating layers without damaging the metal substrate. The main furnace runs at approximately 350–450°C, thermally decomposing organic compounds into combustible gases. These gases are then collected, purified, and reused as auxiliary fuel, significantly lowering both energy consumption and emissions. Integrated dust removal, exhaust purification, and heat recovery systems ensure clean, safe, and environmentally compliant operation.

The equipment set includes a feeding conveyor, forced screw feeder, double-layer main furnace, combustion and purification units, and a cooling discharge system. The inner layer of the furnace preheats materials, while the outer layer performs the main decoating and carbonization process. Heating options include natural gas, LPG, diesel, or electric systems — with gas heating offering the most economical performance. For large or irregular materials such as aluminum profiles or bulky scrap, a pre-treatment system (twin-shaft shredder and hammer crusher) can be integrated for efficient feeding and processing.
