The Solar Panel Frame & Junction Box Removal Machine is a semi-automatic dismantling system for professional PV module recycling. It removes aluminum frames and junction boxes from end-of-life solar panels efficiently. The machine significantly reduces manual labor. It ensures consistent and repeatable dismantling quality. Integrated PLC control, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems make it suitable for continuous operation in a complete solar panel recycling line.

The equipment supports most standard PV module sizes on the market. Operators select the panel size on the touchscreen. This allows automatic positioning without mechanical adjustment. This flexibility enables efficient processing of mixed incoming panels and improves overall operational efficiency.

During operation, solar panels are conveyed from the rear onto the working platform, where side positioning units align and secure the module. The upper clamping mechanism then fixes the panel in place. The aluminum frame is separated along the panel edges, while the junction box is detached simultaneously. After dismantling, the system automatically resets, and the glass panel is transferred forward to downstream glass separation equipment, ensuring smooth line integration.

The machine processes 1–2 panels per minute, making it suitable for small to medium-sized recycling plants. Key specifications include an overall size of 2850 × 2750 × 2050 mm, installed power of 3.75 kW + 1.5 kW, and a total weight of approximately 2 tons. Supported panel sizes range from 1580 × 808 × 40 mm to 2380 × 1300 × 35 mm, covering most commercial and utility-scale PV modules.

A robust hydraulic and pneumatic configuration provides a reliable separation force while protecting the glass surface. Multiple hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders ensure precise positioning, stable clamping, and long-term operational reliability. Routine maintenance focuses on inspecting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Regular checks every two weeks help maintain stable performance and extend service life. In case of malfunction, operators can isolate the power supply and use the PLC indicators and touchscreen I/O interface for rapid fault diagnosis, minimizing downtime.
