Our Retired Solar PV Panel Recycling System is designed specifically for recycling photovoltaic panels and supports a variety of photovoltaic panel sizes – from 1000 mm to 2400 mm in length and 800 mm to 1300 mm in width – including single glass panels with a deformation tolerance of up to 30 mm. The system can process 50-60 photovoltaic panels per hour, equivalent to approximately 1.5 to 2 tons per hour.
The line efficiently dismantles key components such as junction boxes, aluminum frames, and glass, achieving removal rates of 85–95%. The automated junction box removal machine ensures fast and accurate detachment, reduces manual labor, and integrates seamlessly into the full recycling line. Our aluminum frame removal equipment applies precision engineering to minimize material loss and maximize recovery efficiency.
The system delivers excellent recovery and purity performance:
Copper recovery rate >95%, purity >95%
Plastic powder recovery rate >95%, purity >90%
Silicon recovery rate ~95%, typically mixed with plastic and glass powders, with a silicon content of ~45%
