A2 & FR Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP), also known as fire-rated or mineral core ACP, are widely used in architectural and façade applications. Due to their non-PE mineral core structure, these materials cannot be processed by conventional ACP recycling methods and require specialized equipment for aluminum-plastic separation. The A2 & FR ACP Recycling Machine is specifically designed to process fire-resistant aluminum composite panels, enabling efficient and environmentally friendly separation of aluminum and plastic. The system converts complex ACP waste into high-purity aluminum and plastic fractions, creating significant recycling value.
The recycling process starts with feeding and size reduction. Waste ACP panels are shredded using a single-shaft or double-shaft shredder for high-capacity operation, followed by knife crushing to reduce the material to approximately 10–20 mm in size. A high-strength main shaft ensures stable crushing performance and consistent particle size for downstream processing.
Next, the crushed material is finely ground in a turbo-type water-cooled grinder. Operating in a fully enclosed, negative-pressure, and dust-free environment, the grinder produces uniform fine powder. Oversized particles are automatically returned through a rotary screening system, ensuring optimal preparation for separation.
At the core of the system is a dual electrostatic separation unit. By utilizing differences in electrical conductivity between aluminum and plastic, the materials are separated twice to achieve an aluminum-plastic separation efficiency of up to 99%. The entire process is supported by pulse dust collection systems, ensuring clean, safe, and environmentally compliant operation.
With stable performance, high automation, and strong adaptability, the A2 & FR ACP Aluminum Plastic Separation Recycling Line helps users streamline operations, reduce processing costs, and meet environmental standards. It is suitable for processing fire-resistant ACP panels as well as other aluminum-plastic composite materials such as blister packs, laminated films, and packaging waste, delivering reliable high-purity output and sustainable resource recovery for recycling enterprises.
